When I bought my house I came into possession of all the old title documents. Among them was a plat ("a map showing actual or planned features, such as streets and building lots.") of what is now South Minneapolis drawn in 1854. I thought you might want to see it so I scanned it in for you.

New bit of wood what goes over the sink area

I'm sure it has a name but I don't know it. It's the bit of wood adjoining the ceiling, above the sink, the goes between the cabinets on either side and obscures the light fixture. I haven't had one for a few years and now that I finally bought a router I decided to finish that project.
